In December of 2012, the comet was, in fact, destroyed. The only problem? It didn't just disappear. Fragments came crashing toward Earth - not as destructive as the whole would have been, but damaging none the less. Destruction ensued. The world waited with baited breath for this Apocalyptic Holocaust to cease. A week after New Years, 2013, the disturbance ended. The skies cleared, and the survivors mourned the losses they encountered, homeless, many left without families to turn to. Lines began to blur, and soon, there were no states. There were territories governed by Martial Law, ruled by what could only be described as gangs. Some fell into their new lives with ease, while others were content to pretend it had never happened, or went insane. It was the dawning of a new era, a rebirth of mankind - a fresh start.
The year is 2014. The climate has changed, and sometimes, it's not safe to leave your home
- or at least, what's left of it.
